This is a 1981 album by John Martyn, a British singer-songwriter who has been active since the late 1960s, and who was influenced by the Italian ambient master Gigi Main. The first edition of the guidebook 'obscure sound' introduced 1980's 'Grace & Danger' as a Balearic rock classic, but this one, produced around the same time, is just as good. A1 is a masterpiece of nice mellow rock that responds to the recent Balearic movement, including the beautiful contrast between John Martyn's withered falsetto vocals and the transparent bluesy sound.

A1: Couldn’t Love You More
A5: Hearts and Keys
