Debut album released in 1982 by the acoustic guitar duo of Jorge Strunz from Costa Rica, an early member of Caldera, and Ardeshir Farah from Iran. The album features the well-known Indian violinist L. Subramaniam, Omaya Alghanim (g), Luid Conte (per), Gregg Lee (el-b), and Ron Wagner (dr). The guitar playing of Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah is amazing, and the nostalgic layered melodies reflecting their roots in folk music are complemented by L. Subramaniam's extended violin and Luis Conte's live percussion. and the live percussion of Luis Conte add a touch of color. If you like the German guitar duo Martin Kolbe & Ralf Illenberger, this is the ethno-guitar music for you. (Chee)
