A limited pressing of 880 copies of this album, released in 1984, was recorded by Kailash Chandra Pande, a singer and legitimate heir of Indian classical music, during his tour in Japan. It was produced by Takashi Tachibana, a journalist and non-fiction writer who is sometimes seen on TV. Japanese tabla player Tadahiro Wakabayashi joins in. side A is a 16-beat raga cycle called "Raga Yaman", which begins quietly with a tamboura drone, and gradually builds up as the tabla rhythm is introduced in the middle. side B is a 16-beat raga called side B is a rainy season raga called "Raga Guad Malhar" composed by Ustad Inayat Hussain Khan. Both of these pieces are deep meditative worlds that give a sense of oneness with the universe. Includes a 10-page booklet insert with liner notes and conversations with Takashi Tachibana and Kappa Seo.
