This album was released in 1962 by Karl-Heinz Stockhausen, one of Germany's leading contemporary musicians, who began with total serialism and continued to develop into group music, moment forms, and forme techniques, as well as many live electronic works. Recorded at the Electronic Music Studio of the West German Broadcasting Corporation in Cologne, this electronic music work is a collage of various electronic sounds that are sequenced using the human voice, prepared piano, metal/skin/wooden percussion, and impulse generators, creating a contact between instrumental and electronic sounds played by humans. This is a reissue of a recording that was remastered in 1968, probably in the 1980s, to reflect the technology of the time, and the sound quality has been greatly improved. A beautiful copy.
