This album by pianist Keiichi Shibata was released in 1985 as the first release under the Shi-Zen label, which has produced numerous new age works by artists with a Japanese flavor, such as Kitaro and Sojiro, as well as jazz bassist Motohiko Hamase. Although he has a background in classical music and jazz, he does not limit himself to any particular genre, but relies solely on his own emotions to create beautiful and fragile melodies that envelop the acoustic space, as if he were capturing a moment of nature's expression and change, like a landscape photograph. It is a wonderful work.
