This album was released in 1982 by guitarist Ken Yajima and his group Visions, who, like Haruomi Hosono, were among the first to introduce the world's first synthesizer with sampler function, Fairlight II, and started private recording with it. The group, consisting of guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and electronics, played blues rock instrumental progressive rock with synthesizers. I highly recommend A2, with its bluesy electric guitar solo and trippy analog synthesizer sound, and B2, with its contrast between the thick, resonant drone of the analog synthesizer and the electric guitar, layered with a vocoder chorus.
A2: Smoke Zone
B2: Journey to the End of Time
