Kent Carter with Claude Bernard
Solo
Ictus (Italy) 1976
0002 (LP)
sleeve : EX-(SOC, some light dirts.)
media : VG+/VG+(some light surface noises and click noises caused by slightly wear.)

A solo album released in 1976 by American bassist Kent Carter, who has also collaborated with Steve Lacy, Andrea Centazzo, and Takashi Kako, and was a member of Giorgio Gaslini's group and Trevor Watts' Amagram. The album features French saxophonist Claude Bernard. Although not widely known, it offers exceptionally compelling content, weaving dissonant melodies with elements of contemporary music and chamber music. Track A5, which paints a profound soundscape using only cello and bass, is a must-listen for fans of ECM-style music. The shimmering reverberations dedicated to Cannonball Adderly on track B2 are also outstanding. Additionally, the album includes compositions inspired by Steve Lacy among others.

A5: Ballad for Michala
B2: Song for Cannnball
