This is a 1987 solo album by the Swedish guitarist Lasse Enalund, who also contributed to Mikael Ramel's "3:e Skivan" and Monica Tornell's "Don't Give a Damn." Collaborating with jazz musicians such as Palle Mikkelborg (trumpet), Uffe Markussen (saxophone), and Marilyn Mazur (drums), Enalund created a highly spiritual and narrative-driven New Age jazz album. It features acoustic guitar melodies that exude a sense of transparency while carrying an ethnic atmosphere, akin to a shower of musical beauty. This underrated masterpiece showcases a profound sense of spirituality throughout its entirety. Fans of Steve Tibbetts will definitely want to check this one out. It comes highly recommended.
