This is a solo album by Claude Nsmbu Makola, a.k.a. Lengi Lenga, one of the core members of Zaiko Langa-Langa, released in 1980 on the label run by Franco Luambo, who is known as an international representative of Congoleese music. The album is full of warbly, tropical Congolese rock with beautiful vocals/chorus backed by a gently grooving rhythm section, in the style of Franco. The backing musicians are unknown, but I think they are from T.P.O.K. Jazz. Very good performance. This is a rare Ivory Coast edition.
There is some light background noise due to the quality of the pressing.
