"Let There Be Light" is the unit by Ko Ishikawa, who is a member of the gagaku (Japanese ancient court music) group "Reigakusha," and is also active as a sho (Japanese traditional court music) soloist in a variety of fields, including improvisation, while singer/pianist Nami Hotatsu, whose crystal clear voice has been described as "the voice of a shaman" by Haruomi Hosono. The album is a fusion of fine-grained electronic sounds that shimmer and shine like a kaleidoscope and the divine tones of the sho, which emits high overtones, and can be considered the best-kept secret of Japanese spiritual ambient music. This CD-R was made by Nami Hotatsu herself. Includes a handwritten card by her. Please take this opportunity.
