The album was released in 1989 by Lito Vitale Cuarteto, a jazz group formed by composer/keyboardist Lito Vitale, a member of the Argentinian progressive rock band MIA, who has also made some excellent solo works using a lot of electronics, together with Marcelo Torres (b), Christian Judurcha (dr), and Manuel Miranda (perc, etc.). It is a sophisticated cross between the cool sound reminiscent of the Pat Metheny Group and the ethnic sensibility of South American folklore. The clear and beautiful sound of FM synthesizers and electric pianos penetrates your body, and A1 is intoxicating.
