Litto Nebbia—one of the giants of the Argentine music scene alongside Spinetta and Charly García, and an artist whose original vinyl records remain consistently popular in our shop. This limited-edition LP features 10 tracks selected from the 2-CD set Antología 1971–2014, which compiled 33 gems spanning over 45 years of his solo career—songs that deserve to be passed on to the present and future. The Compiler is Chee Shimizu. Centered around crossover music with numerous collaborations that will delight South American music fans—such as Uruguay’s Rubén Rada and Brazil’s Zé Renato—the album also includes tracks featuring synthesizers and drum machines that connect seamlessly with today’s Balearic and mellow groove scenes. Six of the ten tracks appear here on vinyl for the first time. A collection to be enjoyed well beyond the framework of South American music. The remastering, handled by Masato Morisaki of Saidera Mastering led by Seigen Ono, is also an outstanding achievement.
