This album was released in 1988 by Lucia Reine, a female singer from Guadeloupe the southern Caribbean archipelago who worked in France. The album is backed by members of Kassav, one of the world music movement's most famous zouk bands, and bassist Luc Leandry, another Guadeloupean who has played on many of their albums. The album features six tropical zouk tracks that combine synth drums and percussion with digital synthesizers and horns to create a sound production and Lucia's lovely vocals. The mix of R&B, soul/funk and reggae flavours is a nice urban mellow groove. Highly recommended!
