This album was released in 1982 by Maria Del Mar Bonet, a trad singer/songwriter from Palma de Mallorca, Spain who has been active since the late 1960s. The album was composed and arranged by Jordi Sabates, a leading Catalan jazz pianist, who also plays the piano. The orchestral sound is similar to that of Greek singer Irene Papas' masterpiece "Odes", and Maria Del Mar Bonet's delicate and beautiful vocals float mysteriously in this traditional folk work with a deep atmospheric atmosphere.
