Masayo Kawaguchi made her debut as a singer/songwriter in her teens, has worked as an actress and is now a freelance journalist based in the USA. This is her first album, released in 1981. The album features arrangements by Shigeru Suzuki and Akira Inoue, and is backed by a cast of talented session musicians including Tatsuo Hayashi, Motoya Hamaguchi, Yuichi Togashiki, Tsuyoshi Kon, Takayuki Hijikata, Masaki Matsubara, Jun Sato and Chuei Yoshikawa. The light mellow city pop song A3/B4, written by Kawaguchi himself and arranged by Akira Inoue, is excellent.
