A group led by Germany's minor bassist Maximilian Nobel, Max, featuring trumpeter Henry Scott III, released their only album in 1985. Frank Samba, a member of Ja Ja Ja, also participated. The album presents a rare type of work throughout, featuring a danceable avant-crossover/fusion with four-on-the-floor beats and breakbeats driven by a drum machine. It has similarities to Toshinori Kondo's IMA. Highly recommended for dance music DJs.
