This album was released in 1968 as part of the Music of Our Time series, which focuses on contemporary music of the 60s and 70s, by American percussionist Max Neuhaus. Neuhaus is best known for his work with John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen, and this album also features his 1966 collaboration with John Cage, Fontana Mix-Feed, Stockhausen's Cycles for One Percussionist, and other composers such as Earle Brown, Morton Feldman, and Sylvano Bussotti. He plays a variety of percussion instruments to create spacey, experimental percussion performances and powerful electronic drone noise. Original US pressing, 7" not included.
