This album was released in 1980 by Michael Franks, an American singer/songwriter who has recorded many AOR classics since his debut in 1982. The album features many artists and session musicians from the US jazz fusion/soul scene, including the Brecker Brothers, Larry Carlton, Harvey Mason, and Luther Vandross, and features Franks' signature sweet pop rock that ranges from funky grooves to mellow soul, and is a perfect combination of excellent songwriting and a solid backing track.
