Mikio Masuda, whose groovy and melodic electric piano playing is superb, released "Mickey's Mouth" on East Wind in 1976 and "Moon Stone" on Better Days in 1978. This album was released in 1980. The album features Takayuki Kato (g), Osamu Kawakami (b), Kenji Takamizu (b), Masato Kawase (per), Shuzo Ohno (tp), Toshiyuki Honda (as, ft), and Louis De Andrad (dr). It's a great album with crossover fusion with the same groove as ever, but the best tracks are A4, which is a tight groove that combines jazz funk and boogie disco like the soundtrack of a black movie, and B3, which is a Brazilian fusion with a great sense of speed and flight. I highly recommend it.
