A leader album released in 1977 by Miroslav Vitous, the virtuoso jazz bassist from Czechoslovakia who would later join Weather Report. Two percussionists, Don Alias and Armen Halburian, participate in the album, but all other performances are by Vitous himself. While he masterfully handles acoustic and electric bass, he also plays piano, electric piano, Mini-moog, and ARP string ensemble, with particularly astounding and intense synthesizer performances. The album features cosmic jazz at its best throughout, including the endlessly aggressive A1, the Afro-Brazilian rhythm of the fast-paced A2, and the trippy groove of A3, driven solely by percussion and synth.
