This is a solo album released in 1983 by the American pianist Mitchel Forman, who has contributed to the works of artists such as Mark Egan, Bill Evans, and Pat Metheny, and also played as a member of John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra. The album was released from the Italian label Soul Note, a sister label of Black Saint. At the time, Forman was praised as a lyrical pianist in the tradition of Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea, and rightly so. Throughout the album, an elegant and imaginative soundscape is woven with beautiful piano melodies, showcasing Forman's remarkable contemporary jazz style. It's a pinnacle of romanticism in music. Highly recommended.
