This is a 1975 album by American jazz pianist Muhal Richard Abrams, one of the founders of The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM). The album features Wallace McMillan (ft,as), Edwin Daugherty (as,ts), Richard Brown (ts), Emanuel Cranshaw (vb), Ella Jackson (vo), Rufus Reid (b), Reggie Willis (b), Steve MsCall (ds) and WIlbur Campbell (ds). The album contains a number of atmospheric compositions that depict mental images in sessions with the participating members, including the flute and piano duo A1, gospel singer Ella Jackson's vocals and piano duo A3, vibraphone and piano duo A5, and piano percussion duo B1. This is the wonderful album that also showcases Abrams' talent as a composer to the fullest.
