This is the second album released in 1980 by Nectett, a German jazz combo featuring trombonist Peter Herborn and pianist Thomas Hufschmidt. The album includes A1, with its speedy Brazilian rhythm and thick horn section, and B1, a breezy jazz funk with a pleasant contrast between the elegant sound of the electric piano and the emotional horns. This is a masterpiece of combo jazz that can be compared to Combination & Brass. Exhilarating!
