The first leader album released in 1972 by American drummer Norman Connors, who made his debut with Archie Shepp's 1967 album "The Magic of Ju-Ju" and later worked with Pharoah Sanders' group. The group includes Herbie Hancock, Gary Bartz, Cecil McBee, Stanley Clark, Airto, Eddie Henerson, Carlos Garnet, and Bill Hart, among other distinguished musicians. The title track, a 21-minute-long cosmic performance on the entire A-side, and the exhilarating and fast-moving B1 are examples of spiritual jazz that follows Pharoah Sanders' lead, with a more crossover feel while also showing the influence of Miles Davis during his electric period. There is a small scratch on B1 and B2, and some light intermittent click noises, but otherwise good.
