An album released in 1973 by American drummer Norman Connors, who made his debut on Archie Shepp's 1967 work "The Magic of Ju-Ju" and later played with Pharoah Sanders' group. Featuring an impressive lineup that includes Herbie Hancock (piano), Eddie Henderson (trumpet), Gary Bartz (alto sax), Carlos Garnett (soprano/tenor sax), Art Webb (flute), Cecil McBee (bass), Buster Williams (bass), Stanley Clarke (bass), Dee Dee Bridgewater (vocals), and more. The album is a masterpiece that showcases groovy and deeply spiritual jazz throughout, with Afro/Brazilian influences inspired by Electric Miles. Highly, highly recommended.
