This is the 8th album released by the German band Novalis in 1982, known for their lyrical and fantastical progressive rock. While Novalis had leaned towards a more pop-oriented direction since their 3rd album, this album maintains a melodic symphonic rock with a strong pop sensibility. However, the standout track is the A1, which transitions from a grandiose intro to a slow-tempo space boogie rock with layers of ethereal synthesizers, creating a new Balearic vibe. The high-energy and majestic symphonic rock of B2, along with the folk-infused atmosphere in B3/B4, also make for a great listening experience.
