This is the second album released in 1987 by Open Art Band, a German jazz group led by guitarist/composer Klaus Obermaier and featuring Johannes Prischl, Gerhard Burda, and Roland Punzenberger. The tight rhythm section and floating guitars that sound like synth pads are layered with clear tones of saxophone and flute, creating an atmospheric crossover jazz that could only come from Germany at this time. It also has a free taste. Recommended for those who like ECM works of the same period.
