This album, released in 1983 by the British jazz group Paz, who were also featured in the guidebooks on the first edition of “obscure sound" and "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION," revisits their 1978 masterpiece "Kandeen Love Song," a notable ethnic spiritual jazz work. Paz garnered acclaim not only from the progressive rock/jazz-rock circles but also from the Latin and Brazilian music spheres for this release. The album prominently features Latin vibes, with Dick Crouch's vibraphone, Geoff Castle's electric piano and Moog synthesizer, and extensive Latin percussion, offering a vibrant array of Latin/Brazilian tunes. It's a delightful piece that also captures the lightness seen in 1980s UK light fusion.
