A group of local, lesser-known musicians based in Westerholt, a town in central-western Germany, Pentagramm released their only album as a self-produced record in 1985. This work showcases soft-touch folk songs featuring acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonium, and harmonized vocals, covering gospel, blues, Irish traditional songs, as well as original compositions by the group's central figure, Hans-Jurgen Ilgner. Some tracks take on the atmosphere of soft rock, enhanced by beautiful choral arrangements, making it highly recommended.
