A solo album released in 1980 by the Austrian-American keyboard player Peter Wolf, who gained prominence by joining Frank Zappa's group in 1975 and went on to work as a studio musician and arranger for many groups including Starship, Commodores, and Heart. The album features a refreshing blend of organic New Age jazz with tracks like A1/B1, along with the dramatic B2 that extensively incorporates electronics. While showcasing a variety of styles influenced by classical and jazz backgrounds, Wolf's distinctive and experimental arrangements, heavily influenced by Zappa, shine through. This high-quality work unfolds as an experimental and progressive art-rock, with exceptional choices in synthesizer tones and sound production. Highly recommended.
