Album released in 1989 by Philip Glass, a contemporary musician from Baltimore, USA, whose soundtrack for the documentary "Powaqqatsi - Life in Transformation" was featured in the first edition of the guidebook "obscure sound". Composed for the Danube Music Festival, The American Music Theater Festival in Philadelphia, and commissioned by the West Berlin City Council, the work was premiered in 1988 in Hangar 3 of the Vienna Airport. It is a musical drama integrating Glass's music with David Henry Hwang's text and Jerome Sirlin's projection video work, and this work is positioned as a soundtrack, so to speak. You can enjoy theatrical music that fully reflects the minimalism and electronics that characterize Glass.
