A duo album released in 1988 by Danish guitarist Pierre Dørge, known worldwide for his contributions to SteepleChase's many masterpieces and his work with Pierre Dørge & Jungle Orchestra, a group that heavily incorporated African music, and pianist Jan Kaspersen, who has performed as a member of the jazz-rock group Blue Sun and contributed to Fred Israel's Danish ambient gem Fashions of Moon. This album compiles live recordings from a concert held in Denmark in 1987. Despite its minimalist setup—featuring guitar, percussion, alto horn, piano, and piccolo flute—it showcases superb performances that fully reflect the unique tastes of both musicians. Notably, the arrangements of Erik Satie’s Gnossienneon tracks B2, B3, and B4 are particularly delightful.

B4: JazzGnos nr. 3
