Plastics is the new wave band formed by Toshio Nakanishi with Chika Sato, Hajime Tachibana, Masahide Sakuma and Takemi Shima, and debuted on Rough Trade in the UK. This is a 7" single cut of two songs from their first album "Origato Plastic" released in 1980. This band, along with P-Model and Hikashu, became popular as the leading figures of techno-pop. The band had more elements of new wave and post-punk than techno-pop, and with the excellent sound production of Masahide Sakuma, a former member of Japanese prog-rock band Yoninbayashi, who was under the influence of Kraftwerk, their rock was quite radical for the time. The arrangements of the backing tracks approximate those of Hikashu.

A: Peace
B: Desolate
