Pompon Kuleta is a singer who was a member of Afrisa International, a band led by Tabu Ley Rochereau in the 80's. This album was released in 1986. Backed by the aforementioned Afrisa International, the album features the percussive and groovy beats of a rhythm section consisting of soloists Shaba, Sammy Massamba and Maika Munan, and the flowing backing of an electric guitar.
