This is a leader album by Japanese trumpeter Shuzo O'no, after joining George Otsuka's group in 1971, he moved to the U.S. in 1974 at the invitation of Art Blakey and worked in New York. The album features Gil Goldstein, Pete Levin, and other musicians who worked with Gil Evans' group, in which Ohno himself participated, and presents urban fusion, which was at the forefront of the jazz scene at the time. The album features synthesizers, so it should be a must for those who like the works of artists around the Pat Metheny Group. B2, a crystalline cover of "Ringo Oiwake" with a reggae beat, is also wonderful.
