An album recorded by the American saxophonist Sonny Rollins in 1958 during his peak period, featuring collaborations with Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, and many other musicians, recognized as one of the most influential jazz musicians. This album was released on Period Records. Recorded with a quintet including Thad Jones (tp), Jimmy Cleaveland (tb), Gil Coggins (p), Wendell Marshall (b), and Kenny Dennis (ds), the B-side is credited to the Thad Jones Ensemble. It includes highly acclaimed performances such as the historically significant A1 and A3, where Rollins interprets the scores of the 19th-century musical figure Pyotr Tchaikovsky in a jazz context. From original compositions to standards, Rollins delivers emotionally charged performances, making this album deserving of its reputation as a lost masterpiece. It was reissued in limited quantity domestically in 1996 as part of the Venus Records' "Venus Hyper Magnum Sound LP Collection" series.

A1: Sonnymoon for Two
