The only album released in 1987 by Speak Low, a Norwegian one-off group led by saxophonist Odd Riisnaes and featuring Dag Arnesen (p,synth), Kare Garnes (b) and Tom Olstad (ds). It features contemporary jazz with an urban feel, ranging from dreamy synthesizer tracks to ECM-esque spirituals and relaxed crossovers. There's nothing out of the ordinary here, but I like the grating sound that only Scandinavia can provide.
