An excellent album, released in 1980 by the Greek jazz-rock group Sphinx. They develop a sophisticated sound with Fender Rhodes, Electric Guitar, Bass, and Percussion. This is a hidden gem of a spiritual jazz album with a crossover feel, blending ethnic/Latin tastes just right, such as the deep jazz A1, which progresses with a cool atmosphere of controlled emotion, and the danceable samba jazz B4, which features bright piano and guitar. It is highly rated by progressive rock enthusiasts, but as mentioned above, it also has a strong Latin/ethnic flavor, so it is highly recommended for those who like South American jazz and, of course, European modern jazz.
A1: Dr. Tzekyl Kai Kyrios Chaynt
A2: Sampa Tis Agapis
B3: Aioliana
B4: Ouranio Toxo
