ツトム・ヤマシタ=佐藤允彦
ものみな壇ノ浦へ - パーカッションとジャズ・オーケストラのためのコンポジション
Columbia (Japan) 1976
SW-7037 (LP) Master Sonic
sleeve : EX(some very small spots.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly surface noises, still good.)

This album was released in 1971 by Japanese percussionist Sutomu Yamash'ta, who has made a name for himself in the field of classical and contemporary music since the late 1960s, and has since left behind a number of masterpieces that cross genres from rock to crossover, electronic music and new age. This is a powerful work that challenges the fusion of contemporary music and jazz in a session with pianist Masahiko Sato, Japan's leading jazz orchestra Toshiyuki Miyama and New Hard, where the gradual transition between stillness and movement in contemporary music is sublimated into another dimension by a powerful jazz session. Don Cherry and Krysztof Penderecki's "Actions" comes close. This is a reissue of the 1976 release.
