Stomu Yamash'ta's East Wind was released in 1974, joined with Hugh Hopper, Nigel Morris, Gary Boyle, Brian Gascoigne and other talented musicians. Stomu Yamash'ta gained recognition at a young age in the field of contemporary music, but in the 1970s, he entered into a cross-genre battle, collaborating with such famous artists as Steve Winwood, Klaus Schulze, and Michael Shrieve. This album is one of the first of its kind, and it is full of worthwhile listening, including A1/B1, a high-speed progressive rock that runs as aggressively as Weather Report, A2, a bluesy rock album that grooves with a strong sense of austerity, and A3, which creates a magnificent sound with synthesizers and brass. He is amazing no matter what he does.
