Solo de La Passion Selon Sade

Ictus (Italy) 1982

ICTUS 0020 (LP)

sleeve : EX(wear on corner, very small peel-off on one corner.)

media : EX+/EX+(some slightly noise.)

A solo album released in 1982 by percussionist Andrea Centazzo, who has collaborated with artists such as Pierre Favre, David Moss, and Giorgio Gaslini, and who also released the historically significant jazz-rock masterpiece Ictus in 1974. This work features compositions by the Italian composer Silvano Bussotti, a multifaceted artist known for his contributions as a painter, designer, and stage director. The album presents realizations based on six graphic scores, creating a spatial soundscape through electronics and an extensive array of percussion instruments, including a drum set, numerous cymbals, gongs, and chimes. The boundary between free jazz and contemporary music has completely dissolved. This album could also serve as an excellent tool for freestyle DJs. Highly recommended.
