A group of free jazz geniuses: free improviser/trumpeter Toshinori Kondo, who sadly passed away recently, American cellist Ristan Honsinger, German bassist Peter Kowald, and drummer Sabu Yoshisaburo Toyosumi. The album was released in 1983 collaborative release between the IMA label run by Toshinori Kondo and the DIW label of Disk Union. The album was recorded at Chestnut Studio in Suzuka Mountain in the same year and contains six tracks scored by Honsinger and three by Kondo. If you like Art Ensemble Chicago or Lester Bowie's ECM work, you'll love this.
