Takumi was a member of Films in 1980, formed TPO with Fumitaka Anzai and others in 1982, and since then has worked as a solo artist on many synthesiser-based works such as Fairlight and commercial music, and is still respected by many New Romantic artists overseas and elsewhere. His first solo album was released in 1983. The album features vocals with the same sense of beauty and decadence as David Sylvian, and a variety of electronic instruments including the aforementioned Fairlight CMI, Linn Drums and clavinets. This is a hidden masterpiece of synth-pop in Japan, with electronic new-wave throughout.
