This is the only album released in 1984 by Tetelestai, an American neo-progressive band from Baltimore, consisting of five musicians with no prominent previous activity records: Bill Vencil, Marc Fuller, Mark Reeve, Pat Schroeder, and Jim Wall. Sound-wise, it shares a symphonic rock style with a strong influence from the progressive revival sound of the 1980s, characterized by synthesizers that were popular in the UK during that era. The vocals are quite distinctive, and the lyrics seem to carry religious undertones. There are occasional moments where the sound resembles that of Ozric Tentacles, capturing the essence of the 1980s. It's a unique and unconventional piece of work.
