The Muhal Richard Abrams Orchestra, led by American jazz pianist Muhal Richard Abrams, one of the founders of The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM), released its second album in 1989, six years after Rejoicing With The Light. The album is a jazz orchestral work with a total of 17 musicians, and is a wonderful piece of work with a spiritual style with a sense of a storyline, a thick ensemble and a return to an African worldview. The piano solo by Abrams and synthesizers are also a highlight of the album.
