Led by German jazz clarinet player Rolf Kuhn, who has been at the forefront of the jazz scene since the 1950s, this album was released in 1979 under the name The Rolf Kuhn Orchestra and features such virtuosos as Joachim Kuhn (p, synth), Philip Catherine (g), N.H.O. Pedersen (b), Bruno Castelucci (dr), Charlie Mariano (sax), Herb Geller (sax, ft), and many more. The sound production is very finely arranged, with brass/string orchestra and synthesizers. This is an undiscovered masterpiece of jazz-rock on an epic scale, which can be interpreted as progressive rock or symphonic rock, but also has a solid groove.
