The album was released in 1971 by The San Francisco Conservatory New Music Ensemble, a contemporary music group formed by composer Howerd Hersh in San Francisco, USA. Variations III" by John Cage, "Nexus 16" by Loren Rush, "Culmination" by Bulgarian composer Anestis Logothetis, and "L'après-midi du Dracoula" by Robert Moran. Of course, Cage's A1, with its voice and percussion composed of six transparent scores, is like turning a toy box upside down, but Robert Moran's B2, titled "Dracula's Afternoon," has a sound reminiscent of Dracula writhing in the sunshine.

A1: John Cage “Variations III for Voices and Percussion with Solos”
B2: Robert Moran “L’apres-midi du Dracoula”
