Tom Letizia Records (US) 1983
TLR-002 (LP)
sleeve : EX (corner bump)
media : EX/EX (slight surface noise in some places)
An album self-released in 1983 by Tom Letizia, an extremely obscure guitarist from Cleveland, Ohio, USA. This is a crossover/fusion work that encompasses various styles such as jazz, rhythm & blues, and rock. While the taste is generally light, technical fusion, tracks like A2, "Transformations," are excellent with the melancholic sound of the electric piano intertwined with flowing guitar solos over a tightly grooving rhythm section, and B1, "Stolen Bass," is also great, a fast-paced, swinging fusion that starts with a phrase reminiscent of "Take 5."
A2: Transformations
B1: Stolen Bass
