This is the only solo album by Brazilian bassist Sebastião Neto, released in 1992. Active since the early 1960s, Neto contributed to works by many artists including Luiz Bonfá, Os Bossa Três, Sérgio Mendes, and Walter Wanderley. The album features contributions from musicians such as Alberto Chimelli, Nelson Faria, and Sergio Mscif, with compositions by Oscar Castro-Neves, Lani Hall, Sérgio Mendes, Ney Lopes, among others. Featuring female vocals as well, the album presents a refreshing blend of crossover music that elevates Brazilian styles like bossa nova and choro into an urban and contemporary sound. A hidden gem of an album, every track is truly outstanding.
