This is the fifth album in the "Miniatur" series of compositions by Toru Takemitsu, one of Japan's greatest composers, who transcended the boundaries of contemporary music and took up the challenge of composing music with a variety of experimental tendencies. The album contains four compositions: "Garden Rain," a series of compositions on the theme of nature, such as "water" and "tree," "Le Son Calligraphie," composed between 1958 and 1960 for eight string instruments, "Hik" for violin and piano, and "Folios" for guitar. All of them are lyrical works that can also be enjoyed as post-ambient, and should be listened to by those who like ECM.
